Our founder, Martin Pointon has enjoyed a long career in the meat and rendering industry, having built one of the largest independent facilities in Europe. He has also been a trusted adviser to the UK government, sitting on and chairing the expert industry and association panels that helped shape the country’s response to the BSE crisis, foot and mouth outbreaks, bird flu and swine flu. 

Today, Upperdales is a growing team based in the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Lake District. Together, we work with organisations all over the UK to provide food production and processing consultancy, cutting-edge plant machinery, accessible finance, land and property development, and import & export support.
